Default She'e HOME!!!

Ok, I know everyone has suggested waiting for an LT1. I tried...(maybe). Just drove home my new '86 Vette. Does the queezy feeling go away after a while? She's got 79k, Yellow, Auto, Tint, Dk, Gray cloth Seats *thinks yellow leather may be needed*. The guy I bought it from had 2 '63's in the garage (1 racer, 1 cruiser) '74 in restoration, '94 in restoration (friends), and a '70 Chevelle (wife's).

THANK YOU ALL! The comments and suggestions helped me out a TON! My gf and I are planning on joining the convoy to Bowling Green for the Corvette 50th anniversary. Can't wait.

I'll post pics as soon as I take some!

The queezy feeling will go away after you make the first payment and you realize you can really afford it. Sounds like the previous owner was a vette guy and you pobably got a great car. Nice mileage as well. Congrats on the new ride!

Great color :D If you redo the seats I think black with a yellow center would look very

In regard to that "queasy" feeling....if that ever wears off when you look at your car, then somethin' is wrong with you.

Enjoy it!!

Cant wait to see pics, and it does sound as if the guy took very good care of it. I think that yellow/yellow would be a very unique combo... although a custom job... I think it would look REALLY REALLY cool! Whatever you do... dont paint a black stripe down your center and get a big spoiler (juuust kidding jay) :D

Get pics up asap.

I love the yellow vettes! they look way cool!

however, a neato idea for the interior... black leather with yellow piping. black carpets with yellow accents and such.

I saw a new Acura NSX with yellow exterior and yellow leather interior(the dash was black and the doors 2 toned, black/yellow). It was a bit much, really. way too much yellow.

Hey..I like the 'accented' yellow idea. I think the gf would go for that. She said she didn't want to be blinded by yellow seats. We put 250 miles on it yesterday. Drove it back from Waco and then to SA to watch the fight last night at a friends house. No one would believe it was an '86. I also avg'd 24 mpg yesterday. Man...I feel like a stupid giddy school girl.

WOOHOO..Sunday morning at 7:30am and I'm awake and about to go outside (temperature in the low 40s) to see what I can polish.

Well, it looks like the first pics will be of my first project. Looks like Im in for a radiator replacement. Noticed a leak this morning by the drain valve. The sucker free spins. Cant loosen or tighten....hmm.. Oh well, the car needed the radiator yanked anyways. The space between the radiator and A/C radiator was filled with leaves and junk. It's a shame it is Toilet Bowl Sunday, finding a Vette radiator will have to wait 'till Monday.
