Default New TPiS headers.

I ordered my TPiS headers last Wednesday or Thursday and they came in today. Man they are really a good looking header. I will post some pics when i get them installed as I put a new ragtop on it also but i went with a grey to match the interior and i don't know if i like it.

Send it back if you don't like it. If it's unused, they may take it back with a restock fee.

I also have TPIS headers. They fit and look great.

I think I will get used to the Gray top and plus it is alreday installed. What type of header boltes did you use when you installed the TPiS headers? And did you do it yourself? Thanks

Stock bolts work with TPiS, though you can use stage 8 locking bolts too.

I'd stick with stock, be sure to retighten after about a week of cooling and heating cycles.

Do post some pics. I'd like to see what a grey top looks like on your arctic Vert.

I will third Vader's comment. It was a big selling point for me back in the day. I think the stock L98 had 3 support brackets coming off the manifold bolts. Using the stock bolts with TPIS' stand-offs already welded on, made installation a breeze.

And make sure you leave everything a bit loose so you have some play to get everything lined up wth the rest of the exhaust.

I'd like to see the grey top on the white car, I think it sounds like a cool and unique combo.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I figured this was the best place to ask this. Are the TPiS header primaries 1 3/4" ID or OD?

I'm just curious because hookers are 1 3/4 od, and if the tpis are too, i might as well just by the hookers for $400 new lol. Can't go wrong with that
