Default How many Vettes
Anyone know how many corvettes GM has produced total over the years.

The 1,000,000th was built on July 2nd of 92'. Using that as a starting point and using my Vette black book as a guide I would estimate that they are right around 1,200,000 right now. This is only an estimate as I don't have production figures on hand for 99' 00' and 01'. Unless somebody knows something else out there it seems to me that it would be real hard to determine how many were produced up to a specific date.

For what its worth, I believe Porsche has the most cars still on the road, something like 80%.
