Will a maf sensor from an '85 'vette work properly on an '87 'vette?
From what I have seen on here about this subject it should work. The aftermarket guys list just one MAF for the L98 motors. The burn off for the 85 year is controled through the ECM, the rest of the years have a 2 relay system, but I believe the difference is in the wiring and not the actual MAF it just gets it signal a different way. I'm sure some one that has replaced one will chime in
I think I'll replace my relay and see what happens.

I was getting a maf code a few weeks ago. It just ended up being dirty connections on the maf sensor plug. Check connections. The plug portion on mine had become rusty looking. I sprayed some electrical cleaner and sanded the posts lightly. I also cleaned my maf with the spray maf cleaner.
