well i was going to paint them or rather leave the emblems unpainted but i didnt know if they came off and second i didnt want to break anything by trying to get them off. but the shape is still there so im fine with it.

I did mine about three years ago with engine paint. I popped the emblems off and stuck them back on with two sided tape. They look the same as they did three years ago.

The emblems pop right off. They are aluminum so you can straighten them out if they bend.

Looks Great!

I did mine a while back, and bought the mirrored letters and added the SS inserts on the valve covers. I've still got to touch up the emblems and I'm going to paint some other things under there before long as well!

I did mine with the rubberized mirror letters and I sanded between coats to get the smooth finish.
