Hey guys! I finally got around to getting the parts I need to do this. I've seen a few good tips on how to replace the u-joints, specifically on how to get the bloody half-shafts out. My question is this, instead of removing the camber bolt at the differential, what if I remove it at the knuckle? Is there any advantage there? Do I still need to scribe the bolt to keep the alignment?
I also purchased the dust seal for inside the knuckle. I didn't like seeing remnants of the rubber when I pulled the hub and washer, so I figured while I have everything apart to just replace it. That seal is pressed in, correct? It should come out rather easily after the half shaft and spindle are taken out, right? Anyone do this?
