Default I hate to do this, but...

I gotta eat guys:

I gotta sell my vette if I don't come up with gainful employment soon. Not sure what it's worth but here's what's done.

96 CE Convertible Automatic
It's stroked 383 with AFR heads, LT Headers, Coil Over shocks. It has new wheel bearings, new joints, new breaks (slotted and ceramic). It has a new convertible top, new battery, new alternator. It has 11" rims (that look stock) and a set of stock rims and lots lots more.

The transmission was rebuilt to handle the dyno'd 375 rwhp/376 rwtq. (I have the dyno sheet). The engine/trans was built by Central Florida Machine and Speed and the tuning was done my Mike Norris Performance Shop.

Interior has a few scuffs, but no tears. Carpet looks mostly good, no tears that I can think of. No cracks in the dash, and heater core was recently replaced. The paint has a couple of chips to be expected from a car of this age, but it's garage kept and still shines brilliantly. The air conditioner is quite cold. The headlights are about to go, they recently started clicking but still function to their full positions.

Everything on this car was professionally done and it runs great. I hate to let it go, I planned on keeping it forever, but I chose a career in construction and my family has to eat.

I can't figure out how to post pictures on here, but if you email me, i'll gladly send you anything you need. The Odometer reads 145k but it has less than 5k miles since just about everything was replaced with high performance parts.

I hate to do it, but there it is, at the very least, even if your not interested, could you give me a hint as to what it may be worth. Thanks.

You have to do what you have to do. You can always buy you another one when you get back to work. Maybe move up to a newer Corvette. Hope all goes well for you.

Can you drop the insurance and just park it in your garage? You'd sure hate to sell it and then a week or 2 later, or 2 months later you get a job. Maybe try and ride out the storm, it'll eventually pass.

Honestly, I've been trying to ride out the storm for about a year now. My income essentially dropped from near 6 figures to about nothing. I'm beginning to become a burden to both friend and family in my search for a job, any job.

If I get a fair price, i'll gladly deliver to just about anywhere in the U.S.

Well, Many things over the years. Right out of High School I started framing houses. I soon became a framing contractor and did that for nearly a decade and made great money but hated it. I got fed up one day and went to college and came back to a large builder with an offer I couldn't refuse to be a construction manager for a new development they started, nearly 1000 homes. That started going south a few years ago with the housing market and I created a company doing high end kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Lately, I'm doing just about anything to keep the lights on. Today in fact was a roof repair (it's raining a bit in florida).

If you plan to sell, take 5 minutes and learn how to post pictures. You get a free Photobucket account, upload the pics there, copy the [IMG} links and post. No brainer.

Try it on the For Sale side.

I was gonna say if you were in IT lotsa Govt contractors are hiring in the DC area.

I was an auto mechanic and went back back to school to get a finance degree and luckily got in with a gov't contractor. I hope things get better soon for ya, I totally respect the whole going back to school then stepping out on your own. Good luck to you!
