89 Headlight rotate problem
hey guys,
i have searched the forum for headlight rotation problems and have noticed two problems:
1) gear is mashed and need a new gear
2) motor is bad
Any ways to diagnose this issue, it sounds like it is either a 10 dollar problem or 170 dollar problem. The drivers side light turns on but does not flip open. I have not tried to manually toate it yet but just looking for any tips that may be out there. The right headlight flips fine and the drivers side worked fine last week. If it goes out does it just stop flipping or would it flip slowly/not flip all the way first. It seems like it just stopped.......

Mine right side was dead. It was those little celcon pellets that went bad. I believe I used this article, it was not too bad. Good Luck!
