1991 tachometer filter
I found a Vette I am interested in
, the seller indicated the tachometer filter is bad so its’ giving an inaccurate 
/ fluctuating RPM. The seller indicated there is no replacement part for a 1991 tachometer filter, also the cruise control does not work. Any insight to cost and or to remedy these problems will be appreciated.

I think you could find a tach filter if you looked hard enough, try some of the corvette salvage yards if you cannot find new anywhere. As far as your cruise is concerned, there is a switch on your brake pedal that turns off the cruise when you hit the brakes, it may be faulty or need adjustment, or the connection is bad. If you have a manual trans, there is one on the clutch pedal as well.
