Radio/cd replacement
Had my daughters friend replace audio unit and he cannot get power antena to activate. Replaced with Clarion unit & replaced speakers to accommodate, cd work well Help!

Is this for a C4?, you should post the year if so. I just did a write up on my 96 aftermarket install, just follow the link below.

I'm assuming you have a 90-96 since you never said what year. No wire needs to be cut or spliced on the car. Pick up a 88-up gm harness from your local best buy or similar store. It will connect where the CDM was, not where the head unit was. The CDM is either above the passengers feet or in the compartment behind the passengers seat. You should be able to get power always, power with key, power antenna, and antenna all from this location and run it to the front. Ground I took from the screw at the front of the sill.
