radio problem
I installed aftermarket radio, all was well until the starter went out. I pulled on the wiring harness and saw a spark. Replaced the starter now the radio does not work along with the door locks and power seats. All of this worked before the starter replacement. The 3 wires are hooked up correctly at the starter.
I get 12 volts through the ignition (25 amp wiper fuse which was blown and I replaced),so I ordered another radio thinking that was the problem.
New radio did the same. I realized I missed the 12 volts required from the radio fuse. I hooked the 2 12 volt wires together and the radio works.
at the fuse block on the radio fuse I get 9.30 volts and 3.5 volts at the radio.
What does the power door locks, radio and power seats have in common ?
everything else works and I checked fuses.
Where is the aux. fuse block?
