Default Quick question when I accelerated today....

I was going about 40 mph, and then I went through the tunnel and then punched it. As soon as it shifted (auto) in the next gear I heard a kind of loud "CLiNK" from behind. Could it be my bumper wiggling around because it almost chirps when it shifts to the next gear. You know how those fiber glass bumpers are, they kind of are loose. It drove okay, with no noise or anything, and it shifts ok. No leak, should I change the transmission fluid or something. I hope the rear end is okay. Please give me any thoughts, or insights. I appreciate any thing you guys have helped me in the past, or now.

Check the U joints. How many miles are on the car?

Alot of cars develop problems because of fluids not being maintained. Mine was one of them. Slave cylinder went bad because of moisture in the hydraulic fluid. But I agree the first place to look would be the u-joint.

Well, I only have 63k miles on the car. And the same day, the abs and asr lights came on. They only come on once in a while. A mechanic told me once something was up with a u joint in the car, or maybe a censor went out.
