Im a newbie..just wanted to say hi....
I just bought a '85 vette off ebay..and I can tell you I dont like the rims. Anyone want to trade for chrome z06 rims ?
well..was going to post a pic..but not sure how. You can check out the vette at this ebay auction # 130308034284
Also, I havent rec'd the car yet, but anyone know what kind of rims they are?...they are listed as new tires and rims and the owner said he had about 3k wrapped up in them. Any help would be great. Thankyou...Jess.

I do not know who makes the wheels but they are not too bad looking.
I sure hope you had someone test drive and look this thing over before you bought it.
I fear that you are going to have to spend about 3 times what you paid for it in order to get it safe, reliable and presentable. Make that 4 times as I just read the description again.
Sorry, not to flame you but dude you are going to need some serious help from other Forum members here.
And call me suspicious but are you some Mustang Forum member just trying to pull our chain? This post sets off all my troll alarms.

If thats the car those rims look good for the time being. I would worry about goin through the ole gal first before I'd worry bout rims. You only have 245 horses under that hood so I'd spend my money on an air foil and all that stuff first. I am joking do not buy that...That was the first thing i bought when I got my first c4.

corvette ron,....no i'm not a mustang member pulling anyones chain. I do appreciate you posting a pic for me. I've been a vette fan for a long time, and i just finally bought my first one. Ok if you harsh on it, but I will do my best to fix her up. I've looked around and this seemed to be the best site to join , so I did. I will def. ask for help here. Got a few freinds locally, but seems like u guys know ur stuff a little more. thanks!!

I would do it, it is nice to see a vette with vette wheels on it. Sometimes you will wish you never laid eyes on it and other times you will be saying "I own a corvette" Now it is in your blood and no other car will ever compare. I'm on my 6th vette and 2nd c4 and I love them. If ya need any help theres alot of knowledge on this site and all of the guys will help you in anyway they can.

Where do you live? Possible to find some C4 owners near you who can help you with your project. Might help to fill out the rest of your profile so other nearby members can give you tips on where to find a good shop or parts or local cruises.

Nice car. I am a newbie here too (bought my black 85 a few months ago) and can assure you of two things:
1. You might as well go ahead and make the forum your home page because you will be spending a lot of time on it,
and
2. You can find answers to almost anything having to do with your vette here.
Overall, it's a pretty cool place.

Ya know....all the guys at work tease me that I got this car...I work at a auto parts store...and they say all vette owners are *******s. LOL... I dont believe that is true, and if it is....GIve me a sticker cuz I love my vette!
