Have any of you replaced your CLOTH headliner with LEATHER or any
other material besides the stock stuff. My stock headliner is sagging
pretty bad, especially after the rain. I'm thinking of a lightweight
leather fabric. Would this work? Thanks
Its not my best work. The adhesive glue is starting to let go in some areas so i have to redo it. Im gonna airbrush lightning bolts an crap onto it hince some wrinkles in odd areas and off of the I and Y. 99% sure im going to redo it. Imma redo my door pannels with it also I have black crushed velvet on those cuz the carpet material was destroyed and as i used the moleskin on the speaker covers on the dash.
I've bought red leather pieces/hides off of eBay and lined my 1959 trunk and soft top boot areas. Looks good and looks clean. I think lining a top would be easy. Just make sure you get the correct glue so when the car gets hot in the summer the glue doesn't get soft and the liner droop.
