Two Issues

ac controller - When I select "auto ac" the air blows thru the middle vents yet there is still enough air going thru the defroster to fog the glass. I pulled the dash and I can lift the controller a 32nd of an inch to get full flow to the vents. I sprayed some wd40 and it seems to work now. My concern is if I need to address any other issue while the dash is out to avoid it going back to a split flow .
second issue - drivers side lower seat cushion - the front left "tab" of foam has a wire running thru it that I can feel on my leg after a few minutes of driving. It's like resting your leg on a golf ball and its uncomfortable. Will new seat foam solve this? Has anyone else dealt with this? Can I bend that wire to alleviate this?

I can't help you with your first issue. But on your second question I might be able to help. On my 86, I remove the bottom seat cushion from the passenger side and installed it in the drivers seat. I just exchanged them.
