Default 1991 Corvette, need advise

Good day to all. I have an opportunity to purchase a 1991 Corvette with 80,000 miles. I've been a member on this forum for many years and with the great help and support from my fellow members I was able to restore my 1984 Corvette.

I know very little about the 1991 Corvette's and I'm looking for advise as well as pricing. The interior and exterior of the car are in fine condition, rear carpet is a bit faded from sitting, tires new, seals are fine. The car has a rear Greenwood wing.

I did notice from sitting a few of the engine components are pitted, the alternator and plenum to name a few.

The car runs and shifts nicely. I would appreciate any input from my fellow members as well as ball park pricing.
Thank you,
Brimis

Default My 1991

I bought this automatic coupe in December with 43000 miles for $ 7900. Excellent condition in and out and runs great. It needed the 2 rear struts for the hatch replaced and the 2 front speaker amplifiers replaced. Total cost of repairs was $ 200.00

The "91" is the last and most improved year for the L98 TPI engine.

Two things that will need replacing or repair are the Intake Manifold gaskets (oil drip near the transmission bellhousing cover) and the Multec fuel injectors which are not compatible with todays blended fuels or injector cleaners ($169 for Bosch III Injectors from Jon Banner at FIC).

Other than that, the "91" is a Great year since it was the first year to receive the newer front and rear bumper covers and redesigned interior.

Always, buy the Cleanest one you can find.
