Most of us have converted to the Hella H4 enclosures. You can get those at the normal parts houses (Madvet, Ecklers etc) then you can get the H4 bulbs off of Ebay in all different power and heat ranges. Some have tried the Silverstars but they are not as bright as the Hellas. Either way you go no mods are need 100% plug and play. GC

mine came with some funky small blue bulbs mounted inside the housing; installed by one of the PO's. I am guessing that they are some kind of 'rice' mod, but I haven't found any switches to turn them on, and they dont come on with the lights alone.
