That is a common problem with C130 crapola alternators. I went thru the same thing, got a life time warrenty one from Pep Boys and spent my life time replacing it every few months.
Finally got fed up and replaced it with a PowerMaster about a year ago. Never had any problems since then.

U might, it only takes 20 minutes but is is a pain after awhile.... someone gave me a place to checkout, info@powermastermotorsports.com when mine goes again i will contact these people......al [IMG][/IMG]

I have never had a problem with either of mine?
I did have the 86 refreshed last summer, but it was still working fine when I removed it.

That is weird. I wonder why some die and some don't. I have had mine for a year and 1/2 an it's fine. I asked the previous owner if he had changed it and he didn't. I guess the world will never know.
