Take a look at Grundy, seems like their rates are pretty good if you're using your Vette as a pleasure car. Their thing is they insure based on agreed value, not Blue Book value!

I havent, but my All State insurance is $900/ 6 months for:
2001 Civic EX - Full coverage
1988 Civic LX - Liability
1986 Vette - Full coverage
This is for 2 of us. The 2001 Civic is $460/mo so the Vette aint all that bad with All State. It is listed as a 'Pleasure Vehicle'.

If your Vette is pleasure use only, which it sounds like it is, Check out
http://www.classicins.com/ . I switched to them with my 88. The rate went down to under $350 a year :D. A lot better than the $400 every six months I was paying with my regular car insurance company :U.
They have a lot of limitations like only 3000 miles a year, no driving to work, no shopping malls, etc. That is fine with me since my 88 is strictly pleasure use.
