Default Plug for ?

Does anyone know where this plug goes?, its on the passenger side, next to the air filter on the bottom right side. Has a green and black wire, i checked lights and signals, they work fine. i changed my air filter and noticed it laying there. it's a 96 vette.

Does the outside temperature display on the AC controls? The Plug could belong to the outside temperature sensor which is located on the underside of the car passenger side in front of the radiator. Or maybe one of the cooling fans. Turn the AC on if both fans comes on then my guess would be the outside air temperature sensor. GC

All 90-96 C4s with the electronic controlled AC should display an outside temperature temperature in the LED display of the AC controls. Normally the AC when turned on and the desired temp is set the AC will display a temp and the word "outside" next to it. Its tucked up in there before the radiator on the passenger side. The early C4s use the same sensor so im thinking they just display another way

Heres what you looking for Bro.

It's for the outside air temp sensor, not the fans.
