Default Outside Hatch Release Button

Have any of you C4 Brothers added a hidden hatch release button in the top of the license plate recessed area in the back?
I was sitting at a Corvette Show this weekend and watched a couple of C6 guys hit a button in that area to pop their hatch.
Seems like it would be a fairly simple add on.
Thanks,
Robert Anderson

I wouldn't bother. I've already got one in my pocket on the key fob and another one on my driver door face. It's only one step farther to the drivers door from the back of the car and if that seems too far, I can certainly find my own pocket with my right hand.

Should not be too difficult.

What happens if the VATS is activated and you pop the hatch?
