Speaker cloth
Wanted to recover my front speakers so I head of the Radio Shack and they want a fortune for the cloth and no small quantities either. I only need a couple square feet.
Anyone that has done the job, where did you get it?

Ecklers sells it. I replaced the carpet in my car and realized that the 'kit" doesn't come with the speaker carpet 
You would think for the price they charge for the kit it would be in there 
It did coem with door panel carpets though

Corvette America says they have it after I made the suggestion to them when I redid my interior. I haven't bought any yet though.

I picked up some speaker cloth at Joann Fabrics a couple of days ago. Yes, I was the only guy in there. Had to check my man card at the door but got what I needed. It was $9.99 a yard. Didn't need that much and they cut a 12 inch strip off for me for $3.33. With tax under 5 bucks.

I picked up some speaker cloth at Joann Fabrics a couple of days ago. Yes, I was the only guy in there. Had to check my man card at the door but got what I needed. It was $9.99 a yard. Didn't need that much and they cut a 12 inch strip off for me for $3.33. With tax under 5 bucks.

I had all four of mine carbon fibered/hydro carboned for 100 dollars. I yanked off all that cloth before I had them done. Superb! Cloth makes it look old in my opinion. My mod makes it seem more futuristic and up to date. Some say my carbon fiber is rice but I love it!

Exactly what I did! Worked great. Don't bother looking around- since you don't have your man car, just go right to the main cutting area and ask!

Same thing I did. I'm amazed that it was covered with carpet to begin with, total sound killer. Yanked the whole pod apart and widened and glassed it to fit bigger speakers...yanked the whole Blows system anyway...what a difference!!!! Got rid of the rear speakers as well, don't need them...subs!!!
