Does anyone know where you can buy epoxy primer in a rattle can locally.I have a area on my hood to spot in about the size of a soccer ball(bare smc)The local auto paint supply dosen't sell it in rattle cans and they want $100.00 a quart for the stuffI only need about enough to fill up a pill cup(lancaster pa area)THANX

Try another paint shop, the ones I went to would mix you up a rattle can of whatever you wanted for $15 bucks.

Most epoxy primer's are 2 part. I'm not sure if you can get it in a spray can.

Was that one of the national chains that handle dupont,ppg?Or a local mom&pop operation.

I agree,I thought I used to see that stuff on shelves at home centers years ago.They sell epoxy paint all over the place in rattle cans.

Well I came up with a easier solution .I groung out the repair area a little deeper then filled it with smc filler,sanded and then primed with 4 coats of high build primer(problem solved)

To late now but I found some epoxy primer http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/3ZHY1 maybe this will help someone else in the future.

the place i buy my paint fron has it in qts that would be the smallest amount you could buy dont know about the spray can stuff
