Hello all. I recently purchased a 1986 Corvette "Indy Pace Car". Too bad I couldn't have done it before retirement age, but it's still fun. Always wanted a Corvette and after reading the postings here, I think this is the place to be for help. Looking forward to participating.
Welcome....I went the Dave Ramsey route, sold my Z06 with the payments, put some cash with what I had after the payoff, and went looking for a C4...tons of nice stock and modded, but I ended up paying 15k (some say to much) for a 95 M6 with only 19350 miles on it, and it came with 4 new tires on it.
No looking back for me, yea, the Z was quicker (alot), but I love the C4, fast enough for me, paid for and with none of the expensive problems that some of the C5's have. yea, you need to climb in and out of it....makes it feel like a sports car, and once you are in, no C5 has a better view. If I need to think its fast, I will just drive the C3 for a bit...take the plunge, you will never look back......
