[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG]Hi all vette lovers, my names jeff, i've been spooking around in here a few weeks now and even commented a couple times, thought it's only fitting to say hi. I'm the proud papa of a 96, i got it in the middle of july, my first one. man..if i'da known then what i know now i wouldn't have waited,,hmm..well yeah i would, raising a family and all plus doing mil. service for 27 yrs. kinda put a damper on the ol budget if you know what i mean. i tell you, i feel like some kind of junky,,i thought i'd just drive her on weekends, but i've already put 1200 miles on it. It's been many many years since i enjoyed driving a car or truck or anything. (you know the feeling). So if you see me or i see you out cruising around you can be sure i'll be waving.
Welcome! You remind me of how it felt those first few months....grinning ear to ear whenever I drove her...turning 2 or 3 times to look at her as I walked away.
Well, let me tell ya, it's been 4 years and that feeling does not go away!!!!
Hey Jeff welcome to the Forum Congratulations on that beautiful vette and I know that FEELING of ENJOYMENT, I still get that every time I drive mine. Thank you for your service to our Country
Welcome. I know what you mean about feeling like a junky. I wish I hadn't waited 45 years after high school to get my first 'Vette. I feel like I've stepped into a subculture. And boy, does it make you feel connected and alive.
