Look at it this way, you wife's ex husband got all these toys but obviously could not "swing it" right or he has a "small problem".

Nothing "obvious" about it.
Maybe he can afford all the toys now because he doesn't have an expensive wife.
Looking "deep into his eyes" while assuming (hoping) he had a "problem" that you don't know anything about will make you look like an idiot.

What would you rather have his car collection or his wife ? Hopefully he's happier with the cars and you're happier with his x wife then it's a win win

It's normal to be a little jealous for what he has. I'd love to have a new ZR1 but it'll never happen, my 96 will have to do. When I start to feel a little jealous of what other people have, I just listen to the song "Lucky Man" by Montgomery Gentry. If your have a great wife and kids I'd say you are a lucky man.
