I'm back and again need help. 94 Automatic....... Water temp is 200 degrees. Driving normal is OK, but if i accelerate up with a light foot, front end, motor area starts shaking, vibrating, horribly. When i bring it down into 3rd gear it goes away for the most part. Once in overdrive and a little throttle it comes on.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Motor mounts are good, car has 54,000 miles on it. I also checked tire balance and were good. Feels more of a engine shake. It's not a little shake but closer to being severe. Will dig in to it a little more and will post when i find it.. Thanks for the ideas.

Just took it out in the country and when it shifted into 4th gear it seemed fine butttttt it seemed when the torque converter locked up is when this shaking, vibrating occurs. Any ideas.............54,000 miles

Well it sounds just like what mine did...tranny was toast. Didn't know it until I hit 74 mph which I didn't hit when I test drove the car...so I got stuck with an 1800.00 tranny repair. Bring it to a tranny shop, don't wreck the motor!!
Thanks for the info i'll look into that. Pulling it down into 3rd gear when it starts doing it will make it go away so maybe there's something going on with the torque converter when it locks up. Thanks will post when i find out.
