Default which new shifter boot

Im planning on getting a new shifter boot and see there are many options. Does anyone have experience with the ones going for $30 on ebay and how do they compare to other such as stock reproductions and those of redlinegoods? My car is a driver and I dont mind getting away from stock, I want it to look good but don't want to pay more for just a name or something that is barely noticeable. Thanks

I have a Redline 2 tone boot and console cover.....excellent product. Repacing a shift boot can be tricky to make it look good. I have a 4+3 so it may be easier with a auto. The plastic center bushing is stapled to the boot. I had to wrap MIG welding wire around mine really tight to get it to stay in place when shifting.

I have looked at their site a lot, customization isn't that much of a selling point for me because i will most likely go with solid black, my main question is how do the cheaper ($30) on ebay compare to them and stock?

I used the one from MidAmerica, stock replacement. Fits and looks just right. Leather looks like it should.

Im leery of the cheapo knockoff stuff.

I got one from Redline that accommodated the shorter Hurst shifter - the fit was great.
