Hi everyone. I'd like to buy a NEW vette and was thinking of selling mine to help fund it or just keep it ,so I come here for some of your vette friendly opinions.
Do you have any idea of what the value is?
Will it ($) drop next year or 2 if I wait or deciede to sell it later?
Thanks for your opinion. The car is NOT currantly for sale so I asked here. If it is in the wrong spot, please move.
About the car.
It is a 1987 convertable roadster with 29,000 miles.
I only drive it on VERY nice days and garage and cover it when I'm done, All Original and NEVER modified in ANY way, it has a 350 TPI 4 Speed Automatic, Z51 Sport Package,
It is bright red and flawless as is the top and interior which is leather w/ with 6 Way power sport seats, Fully Loaded and Everything Works, Bose Stereo, new tires and brakes.
Thanks for the help.
Today you couldn't sell it for what it is worth. A trade-in would be worse. Save your pennies for a large down-payment on a new one. One can't have too many toys.
I was looking at some C4s on e-bay and some of those low mileage vettes will not even come close to bringing what the owners want. The prices are very depressed at this time and who knows what will happen in the future. I'm sure you can sell it but it just won't bring what it would have in the past. Good luck
Yikes. Lose on the classic and gain on the new one or keep both. Maybe I'll just beat on the classic and baby the new one. Looks like NADA is 18,5 and it would sell for 10 (Maybe). Comparing it to all adds out there.
Thanks for the input.
