LT4 Collector Edition Red Interior- Value?
Very rare to see one of these up for sale, so I'm wondering what kind of money it would fetch.

I will need to check my notes when I get home tonight but I was at Bloomington Gold Mecum auction and a 18,000 mile LT4 vert, low options with red guts sold for low 20s.
As my bride can tell you, my memory is not too good though. Check the Mecum web site to be sure.
Are you looking at a coupe? I would say that a fair price (if well optioned) would be $16,000 to $20,000. If you happen to get into negotiations with the seller just quote the price of a clutch and dual mass flywheel to him. It will eventually need them and they are CO$TLY

If it is what you want though and someone else is after it then just go for it. If you wanna play your gotta pay.
After the red guts GS and yellow over black LT4 this is my favorite C4.
Although a Callway beats them all no matter what color!
I have often wondered why someone does not just buy a CE with a gray interior and change it out to red. Might be a lot cheaper than paying the premium.
Good luck in your hunt!
I wanted to pay! But unfortunately the economy has tanked in the last year since I bought it. So you're right, there's most likely fewer people who will pay!

I will see if I can find my notes after work tonight.
If you want to sell it then put it out there. There may be someone willing to pay your price and has been waiting for this exact car to show up. Hell, if I win the Lotto I may buy it myself.

I have seen quite a few nice ZR1s selling for what appears to be dirt cheap. I probably would have bought one this year if I hadnt spent so much on engine parts for my car last year!
They are neat though, and should go for a little more than a regular LT4. But not very much more. They didn't go for much more when new though either. The CE option was not very expensive.
Comparing LT4 CE 'vert prices to coupe prices probably makes as much sense as comparing GS coupe prices to GS 'vert prices. They don't compare.
Just my two cents. No expert on the market, but I have been watching it and looking at cars as a friend is looking to buy.

LT4 verts always bring more.If I was you I would take it to Barrett Jackson auction in Palm Beach next spring. They sell it on a no reserve basis so it is guaranteed to sell. You just risk that some dude will cherry pick it for 10K

It does seem that they tend to start the bidding at a decent price and someone always seems to step up and pay.
There is a 20,xxx mile 95 coupe in my W Michigan area right now on craigslist with new tires and in perfect condition. Green over black, automatic. Unmolested and original. $10,000. I have seen the car and can't believe it has not sold yet.
