On the positive side, you purchased a nice car, drove 6,000 maintenance free reliable miles. If you had purchased a high mileage car the repairs and cosmetic upgrades would of cost a lot more and the car would be worth less. I have a 1995 convertible with just under 10,000 miles and I'm in the same boat. I would put it up for sale but won't get what it is really worth. The agony of selling and prospects downing the car isn't worth the actual selling price. So,it is just something that I have.

Since I posted, rain stopped, took the C4 convertible for ice cream. It is almost like a new car, heck I don't care what the C4 market is, I would not sell for less than $20,000. Like that dealer said where can you get a virtually new C4. It would take over $25,000+ to bring a tired C4 up to the condition of my car.
