Default Why Lock a Thread?
Is it vibration and temperature change that causes the bolts to back out? What are the most common items that require a product like Loctite. Heads? Headers?

Torque converter bolts, caliper bolts, don't for get header collectors.

Every fastener should have a locking device. I only use Locktite when I cannot use a lock washer. When it really has to stay tight, Safety Wire it.
