Hey everyone, I have a 95. When I flip the headlight switch,the light make a knocking sound while they are flipping up.They go ahead and go up after four or five seconds of this knocking or slipping noise.I SEE WHERE they advertise about these pellets needing replaced.Is this what is wrong and exactly what do these pellets do if this the problem They do the same thing when you turn the switch off also Any help would be appreciated,Thanks ,,,, brent317

What you hear are the Delron bushings that have dried up and turning to dust causing the motor gear to "slip" . These bushings act as a clutch and when they wear out, they get smaller and allow the friction gear to slip, they will not get any better or heal themselves, the pucks must be replaced to return normal function of the headlight motor.
Not a hard job just a PITA to do. The pucks are available from most suppliers for just a few bucks and a few hours later you could be up and running again.
