So over the past week and a half, I hacked up some plastic, foam, and fiberglass to get some nice cooler air into the engine and slam it through the air filter. Then I had John over at AutoXTC in clearwater do a little custom touch to the license plate cover. Check it out...
Now i've just got to seal up the area in the bumper so when at speed, the bumper cover isn't catching a lot of extra air. I've heard it can cause some lift at higher speeds (which I plan to do on a track).

Yeah I chopped that metal bar out of the way and used a tube to direct air into the filter. That way so much air wasn't scooped in under the hood causing lift.
Gotta go through my first downpour already. I thought we were having a tropical depression roll in on my drive home from work. I swear the water was going up instead of down. No water even on the air filter. It's on like Donkey Kong!
Cool! I actually opened the panel on the front of my '84 Crossfire Thursday. Total time: 40 minutes Total cost: $16.38 Probably a negligible increase, I don't beat on mine too hard anyway. I am going to add some screen under the bottom to help catch road debris.
