It's nice to have a nice casual drive through the countryside.

Would also be nice if you provided a link since there's more content in the rules & policies than I care to spend half a day reading.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/foru...ate-links.html

"The sites cannot contain: street racing, profanity, sexual images, inappropriate images (babe pic's), graphic/offensive material, etc. Moderators have the final say in their appropriateness for the good of the forum."
The above is what I found that I presume you are referring to. My video did not contain dead babies, street racing nor anything graphic or offensive. I would think the fact that I 'may' have broken the speed limit wouldn't be cause for concern, but hey; police away... I'm glad a few got to view and enjoy.

Found some more, that restates the above but uses a little different wording.

Street racing is dangerous and illegal.

Kill stories, or any posting about illegal, reckless or dangerous activities on any roadway, is not permitted.

Take it to the track.
Again, on the spectrum of people dying racing my video wouldn't even belong in the low end. Also, the description of 'reckless and dangerous activity' would be ill applied to my rather mundane video, but I can see how this section could be interpreted that way.

On a side note... CHANGE THE RULES!

Just a heads up JW, but I would delete your last two posts. Questioning any rules especially on a thread here will bring you nothing but trouble. pm him if you've have any questions.

Well, the answer I'm likely to get probably won't be particularly important. There might be some question about the clarity, but I'm more interested in a little discussion and perhaps encouragement to make a change.

I think a little lattitude on link posting is worthy of discussion amongst the members of the forum as well as the administrators / owner of the forum.

For example, I'm Corvette fan and would love to see Corvettes in all their glory regardless of the environment they appear in. One could find a lot through searches on YouTube, but a Corvette forum seems incomplete without the inclusion of a video section where (those that would like to) could browse links to videos they'd be interested in seeing. Even for those twisted guys that want to see Gallagher meets Corvette.

My opinion is that if it's ok for YouTube there shouldn't be too harsh an objection about a link to it. Perhaps my opinion is in the minority here (I have no idea), but there's no way to know but to ask.
