Default Any Winter Projects?????

I know it's kind of early, but I also know I have a few major ones to complete.

* Perform a complete frame-off before April 1st
* Paint one race car and make it run again
* Put one car back together after paint next month

I'm in the middle of a shop addition as well, right now. Hopefully the brick will be done by the middle of October and the rest by the end of that month.
I pray for a productive Winter!!!!!

I have a new sound system that's been sitting in boxes for a year and a half - I hope to get that installed over the winter. I'm also gonna be hunting for a deal on a Corsa exhaust.

I have to repaint my valve covers and the air cleaner cover. Maybe have the front bumper redone.

What's winter?

Actually, it does get crappy here in NC sometimes. I'm planning:

U-joints
Full weatherstripping
Maaybe carpet and sound dampening

Default Winter projects

Im starting my projects now.

#1. Fix oil leaks on harley. Go over everything. Maybe some upgrades. Probably start on this around Dec. 1st. My harley is my favorite toy, so here in So. Cal. Its year round riding here.

#2 Just starting on this right now. Remodel of my garage. Picking some new colors for the interior. I think im going to use vette red, dark grey and white.

Dec 1st. Start driving the corvette until about Feb 1st. I drive my vette mostly in the winter.

My vette is all good, so nothing this winter for it.

Oh wow, where to start?

Pulling my intake to replace the gasket, so as long as its out, I'm gonna port that sumbuck.

Valve cover gaskets

new fuel pump

straight piping the exhaust

doing the brakes, painting up the calipers

getting the carbon fiber treatment on interior pieces

That's off the top of my head, probably come up with some others by springtime

My only goal for the winter....keep the damn mice out of my new toy. Past spring I opened the glovebox on my bonneville...about a gallon of corn came rushing out..scared the $!*# out of me. Darn mouse had quite the stash of vittles for himself. Guess I could take apart and clean every electrical connection I can find...preventive maintanence is good I hear.

1. reinstall front bumper cover
2. install new air dam
3. chrome plate and powdercoat more stuff under the hood.

I already painted the front bumper cover and the fuel rails while I was at it. I painted the intake. I dropped waaaay too much money on a set of valve covers. I bought a pair, polished aluminum and didn't like the finish so had them chrome plated then the alternator bracket, throttlebody plate and linkage to match. I'll stay busy.

My car went in for a paint job today and I won't get back until Christmas time. After that I will add a Magnaflow exhaust, replace the cracked panel in the back hatch area, replace the headliner on my targa top, and scrub away the grime on the front aluminum suspension pieces.

1. Remove all interior and install the rest of cage. Install all newer style (91) interior with analog gauges.

2. Remove fuel tank and have tank built to cure 1/2 full tank bog. Update to new style (LS?) pump and sending unti.

3. LS swap or SC383.

4. Have Trans gone through AGAIN or manual swap.

5. Install fire supression system.
