Stereo replacement
1991 original owner.

I have given up on the Bose system.
I have replace the CDM box and now it looks like I am loosing the speaker amps.
I been looking a replacement stereos and wondering about the power antenna operation.

Connect an aftermarket GM stereo wiring harness to the stock CDM under the passenger side dash extending the wires about 2 feet so, it can reach the back of the new head unit. You'll also, need to buy an antenna adapter.
Then, just connect any aftermarket head unit as usual. The power antenna will work when connected to the aftermarket head units power antenna wire.
