The lenses on my under hood lights are warped and cracked, now that my engine bay looks halfway decent i need to replace those. They seem pretty scarce online, both from websites and auctions. Does anyone know if they are a standard thing that may be easier to find from another vehicle? The brackets and housings are all fine, so I don't want to replace everything.
If the lenses are cracked and burnt you are leaving the hood up too long or the switch is bad. I disconnected mine years ago and keep a few mini-mag flashlights in the console. PM me.

They where all messed up before I got the car, now that I'm starting to clean up the engine bay the warped lenses are an eyesore if I ever want to put the hood up at a show.
I thought I looked ever zip's website, don't know how I missed it. Maybe I'm cheap but there has to be some alternative to paying $60 for lens. I guess I will either be looking used or try to mock something up from the hardware store.
I believe my under hood lights have a glass lens not sure how they could warp. I have a switch that turns them on & off. Try finding them from a used parts vender they might be a little less money.

emailed vette2vette the other day but haven't heard back yet, the ones i have are plastic, i don't know when they changed it. I can find a set of both of them for around $40, which i guess isn't too bad.
