What does everyone use to clean the interior of the car? Since there is leather everywhere, I wanted input before I started going spraying STP everywhere like I would on other cars. :) I need to dust and protect the dash and door panels. Thanks in advance,
It is recommended to do this before you put on any protectant-
Wipe off with damp cloth to get most of the dust and debris off. Then was with a mixture of soap (I use dawn) and water, and wipe it. Finish it off with another coat of a wet cotton cloth. That is a 3 step process that is a pain in the ___, but it is worth it. You are then ready to put on a protectant. I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. It is the only Vinyl/Rubber/Plastic treatment with UV inhibitors (UV 40), plus it repels dirt very nicely, and leaves a non-shiny matte natural finish.
I agree with John Rowe,
Black magic for dashboards is really great.. looks natural , no fingerprints or dust... If you have a black leather steering wheel.. use Kiwi black leather shoe dye. comes in a small bottle with applicator..use it to covers nicks, horn button..etc.
 Tip :yesnod:. Kiwi black for touch ups, Thanks, I have a few nicks that were really bugging me.
You must be psychic! :jester I was just thinking of starting this question. I have a few small but real annoying wear spots. Was thinking Kiwi. Awdome to hear ity works.
