If you have a cool car and want top dollar, and then some, take it to the Barrett Jackson auction. I went to the one in Vegas last Oct. Lots of cool cars, lots of big $$$$!! cool to go as a spectator, better than a car show...Drinks are kind of pricy though....
Somebody got raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaped on that deal.A 40th ANV car with the Ruby option wouldnt get that kind of money on the street.Something aint right here.

I went to the one in Palm Beach, Florida. Many people with too much money. It was a great show.

or at least I question why you would pay that much for...(don't flame me)...a standard motor C4? That price seems to be way outside the normal price range, no?
How close can you get to the actual auctioning when you go as a spectator? I imagine you need to take a cashier's check, letter of credit or something to be a bidder and get up close...
I went to see this last year in Vegas. As a spectator you won't get close, you'll need to be a bidder.
ps: The winning bid on the white '93 was $21,000. Shocked the hell out of me.

This was a $13,000 car tops.Im never surprised at what these guys pay at auctions, either too high or next to nothing.

As a spectator, you can't get very close during the bidding, but you can go and walk right up to the cars when they are in the staging lanes outside. In order to bid, you have to have a letter of credit and pay a $300 bidder fee IIRC.
When talking about Barrett Jackson, you need to put parenthesis around the word sold ( "sold" ), kinda like Ebay. There's a similar black/black 91 ZR-1 here on Phoenix Craig's list with 30k miles that's down to $15.9k. Been on there off and on for a couple of months and dropping weekly.
