Default Hey Optispark guys, try this.

Just got back from the do-it-yourself carwash, and degreased my L98, then high pressure rinsed it. :p: ;)

Very funny !!  But that's ok I'll take the 300hp LT1 and just be careful. It's cheaper than a box of mods.

I'm confident in racing an LT1 at the strip. The $300 in mods so far has yielded better than LT1 times. ;)

Ok, I'll bite. What did you do to it for $300 that blows away an LT1 and PLEASE don't say nitrous because once the LT1 hits the button, you're back where you started from. Were these genuine mods? I don't mean to insult but to me nitrous is cheating. It's the same as an athlete taking drugs. Build it, don't chemically enhance it. :D :p: :p: ;)

Well I didn't say blow away, so don't misquote me.:)

The only things done that do anything really are....

Flowmaster Mufflers: $150
Main Cat Delete: $30
Air Pump Delete: $110
Short Shifter : $20

Sorry $10 over. :)

Me in the left, 2002 Z06.

I am going to wash my engine over spring break, of course the opti will be sitting high and dry on the workbench.

Bring it on Scorp  I've got an LT1 that'll show you a thing or two. It's stock, honest :blueangel:

I'd like to take that guy in the Z06. I'd love to have seen the look in his face when you beat him. I wonder if he realizes he can't drive??

I love watching somebody with way too much money think their car is the king of the hill. Around here it's usually some punk in a Viper. Way too much power and way too little skill. It's good for getting 3.0 60's

I love the guys who try to stage with the rear wheels

Nathan, that is just more evidence that it isn't how fast you can go, it's HOW you go fast that counts. I beat a C5 simply because with his traction control OFF he punched it and spun all the way up to the rev limiter and it was bye bye. I was way ahead by the time he got back into it. It was not quite a sweet victory, but it's still a mark in the "win" column. :yesnod:

 If that had been me I would have sure tried to beat the 13.5 leaving the parking lot so they wouldn't be able to see the embarrassement on my face.

Absolutely. You have to be able to use the power you have. I'm not great but I'd like to think I could get better than a 13.6 with that much HP.
