Default 1988 C4 Front bumper replacement ?

Saw a local 1988 vert that needs the front bumper replaced. Parts appears to be missing on one side so not sure if it hit something or caught it and had it ripped off.

Are these hard to change out? Anything I should look out for when I go to see it that would be a show stopper from the mounting point perspective?

Not too bad to change out. Depending on damage and used parts availability could cost $500

Watch for the "HORNS" to be bent out of align

These are the two support tubes that attach to front frame and the steel plate that backs up the bumber...look in FSM for a better description

If these are bent, even a little, bumber alignment will be off.

My bumber moved two inches to the right and up an inch and it bent the horns.

Old fashioned frame straightening shop can re align

Cost me $ 250

Not that hard, just take patience. I think I counted 58 screws and bolts when I took mine off. Get some green masking tape and tape up all the edges of the hood so you dont scratch it up.
