I have a 94 with Passive Keyless entry, somehow I think I have blown a fuse, it is not the fuse in the passanger side fuse block, I noticed that the PKE icon on the computer screen no longer lights up when ignition is on, wondering if anybody knows if there is another fuse, if so where is it?
Welcome to the forum Bill..... since u did not mention if the "PKE" was active or not.....first make sure u did not turn off the "Passive" function...by mistake....hold the "Door" button in range and wait till u hear the doors cycle....also if u have the "PKE" turned "OFF" only the passenger door will open with the "Door" button depressed.
I sent u some scanned pages from the Helms..on the 94 PKE SystemOperation/Programming......unless your isp has a xfer limit crossing fingers :) .
What Dualnic said is right. I am a fairly new member also, and had similar problems withe the PKE. He knows what he is talking about. He sent me the Helms info also and it worked. My 94 still has a bad ground in ;the drivers door wiring. You have to open and close the pass door to engage the alarm.. I will tackle this job in the spring. Good luck :seeya :seeya
Hey TVS VETTE ...your right Dualnick knows exactly what he is talking about, I went out and did what he said and ....there it was...working like a charm...guess I had turned the thing off without knowing...all is well now....hey you said you were new to the forum,,,boy - o - boy what a great service for us guys struggling along with a screw driver in hand.....Thanks for the reply...Bill
