I like my pioneer 6x9's.
I think you should get 5.25 component set for the front, and power them 60x2. you can get a good component set from Car Audio Innovations in Harding. Helpful guy on the weekdays, i dont care for the weekend staff, though.
to do anything larger than 5.25 in your doors, you will have to cut fiberglass.
Thezeb.com has CDT's for a good price. They are NOT an authorised dealer, though.

I fit the pioneer 6x9 4 ways in the rear no problem. I had to make a custom wood mount... In retrospect, I would have put 6.5's in the back because they overpower the front so much, the imaging is terrible. Just buy some good components up front, with a 100x2 amp.
Just get the Focal's, hard to mount, because they hit so hardthey flex the kiss out of the door panel.. but you just can't buy a better speaker
Go with the Polykevlar's though, thezeb has them for $500 or so.
the Utopias are overkill.
You can tell I had to hack apart the fiberglass in the door to fit them.

Lol, theres no way in hell I can spend over a thousand for speakers, I just spent $520 on a new brake job, thats why I was asking if those pioneers were any good. Maybe I should just go with a couple tens in the back.

I went to AudioXpress and they tried to sell me Alpines they sounded okay and I found them at I believe http://www.discountave.com for $99.00 about $50.00 less than AudioXpress, I think they sound good, but then just about anything would have sounded better than the Bose. Car is on jacks or I'd meet you some where so you could here them. I live real close to Roseville.
