If your lucky their is a metal wishbone shaped piece that attaches to the turn siginal switch that MAY have come loose, and can be tightened. If not so lucky the multi-function pivot switch aka wiper switch has a raised piece on it, broken off and needs to be replaced. That was the case anyway on my 91, if yours is the same design.
