Help!! Trans. problems.
Help. I decided to take my 87 with an auto trans out for a ride today during the great weather we got in the NE, but as soon as i started up the street, i knew there were problems. it won't shift out of second. 1st and 2nd seem to work fine, but it just won't go to third. any ideas? luckily i already had an appointment with my corvette mechanic for Tuesday to get it inspected, but i was hoping to at least have some idea what the problem might be before i got there.
I was so bummed out with the great weather and not being able to go on the cruise i had planned.
