IMO the best corvette book to get is a 2010 ZR1 owners manual ( in its original 3333 lb protective wrapper.)

Corvette Specs for the C4 by Mike Antonick. A superb book that no C4 lover should be without.

For a book, the best is "Corvette Fuel Injection" by Charles Probst.

For magazines, only "Corvette Magazine" and "Corvette Enthusiast" make it to my mailbox.

I would say the best book to get and enjoy would be Dave McLellan's Corvette from the Inside. It is chock full of information about the development of the C4 as well as the C5, and has a nice lead-up on the earlier cars.

It's the kind of book I go back and read again every now and then.

I'm also quite partial to The Heart of the Beast by Anthony Young, which is a detailed account of the development of the ZR-1.

Can I borrow it from my public library? The regular price of that book is a bit out of reach...

What about hustler, club, penthouse? I hope you have a mail slot in the door for all your magazines.

BINGO, WE have a WINNA. Actually it depends on what you want to learn/know/understand. If you get nthru the Probst book
you have gone a long way to understanding your machine.

And seriously, the Probst book will help in your diagnoses, even if you take it to someone else - been a lot of threads lately of members taking their cars to "experts", or "mechanics", and by questions posted by the cars owner, these cats working on it barely have a clue. I reference it form time to time after scanning.

Either Corvette Enthusiast or Corvette Magazine. Both are available at newsstands. Pick up a copy of each and then decide. You could also check out Vette or Corvette Fever.

I really like Corvette Enthusiast. In depth articles by experts such as Chris Petris and many others.
I am a bit concerned though that they let me publish an article (coming out in the Feb 2010 issue). Looks like it may be going downhill.
I am going to document and photograph my trip from Michigan to North Carolina and the drive back in my new-to-me 91 coupe. They may not publish it but it will be fun sharing the adventure.
