well today i went down to the track and there was this guy in a 99 c5 pewter colored we where chatting about the cars and then i say hey you wanna run them ive allways been interested to see if there was a big difference in the cars ( motor wise) so we got them lined up and we took off at the same time and where neck n neck the first part of the track then as we got close to the mid part the c5 started pulling away now i was at the rear bumper then surprisingly the c4 started pulling and beat him by a full car length i thought the c5 ls1's where a lot more well...... fast well i represented the c4 very well i think
is yours/his stock or modified? was his manual? is yours manual? is yours lt1, lt4, or lt5?
both stock mine is lt1his is a stock ls1 , the reason he pulled up ahead was because i let of the gas before i hit redline to let the transmission shift
I have to agree, something must of been wrong with the C5 or the driver. I have driven several and although I don't necessarily like them, they can definitely pull better than my C4.
In any case, thanks for putting one in the C4 column

325+ hp vs. 300 hp....in stock trim.......can you share the video? It would be most interesting to see you losing by a car lenght at the 1/8 and then coming from behind and pulling to one full car length with less hp......truly amazing!

hard time believing you for some reason, but I'll try
you would have to have a ton of power over said c5 if you were able to come back from being a car behind to putting a car in him at the far end of a 1/4 mile he had to have missed a shift, blown his engine or you are just full of ****.
