From corveteHID.com comes the group purchase most of you have been itching for! 1984-1996 corvette LED third brake light replacement LED tail lights!
You can now replace your stock bumper mounted or hatch mounted third tail light bulb with our long lasting incredibly bright LED bulbs. The bumper mounted LED bulb is embedded with 39 super bright red SMD chips, which are both radially and top mounted. The hatch mounted third brake light kit comes with 4 led bulb modules. Each module is embedded with 3 high power red SMD chips.
Eliminate the hassle of constantly replacing your stock burnt out bulbs by upgrading to LED. Our bulbs are weather and shock resistant and will last as long as your Corvette will. Increased brightness means increased safety, and that is important with such a low riding sports car. The good part about these third brake lights is that you do not have to change the electronic flasher to use them! Simply unplug your stock bulbs and replace with our LED ones and enjoy the added safety and reliability that is associated with LED's.
L.E.D. lights last longer, shine brighter and light faster than conventional bulbs, providing additional safety. Plugs directly into stock bulb socket, thus avoiding the need to cut into your stock wiring harness.

For those that want to and a nice pulsing effect, I have installed this on my Vert. Works great on the Vert since I don't have to worry about hiding it. Works as advertised. Just cut the 12V wire (White in my case) that goes into the bulb socket and splice this in the middle. Screw the third wire to ground. Hardest part was taking the license plate off (vert). I soldered it in since it gets kind of really dirty back in there and finished it off with heat wrap.
This is the best solution since it only pulses for a few times then goes solid. And if you keep applying brakes like in a stop and go traffic it does not pulse at all. So it won't be annoying to the "Expletive Deleted" behind you.
Got the one from here (cheapest delivered) but they sell them all over the place. Just Google WebElectric Brake Light Pulser -
Yosi I placed my order got all the way to the paypal screen and then your system deletes my order and sends me back to the sign in screen. This is just like when I ordered the foglights. Please let me know how you wish to procede.

Very weird this keeps happening to you! I will shoot you a PM
These are pictures of the hatch mounted bulb in the third brake light. I put only one bulb in the second bulb bay from the left to show a comparison of how it looks when illuminated and when it is off.
Was kind of hard to capture it right, but I think I did an OK job
These bulbs are bright, but I think what's just as important and nice about these LEDs is that they will not burn out on you in a matter of months. These will last you years! Their instant on and instant off is a nice feature as well
