When you say "discounted" did you really mean discontinued? Several years back B&M bought out Hurst. The Hurst C4 shifter was discontinued. You can still buy the B&M at Summit. From time to time, a NIB Hurst shifter for the C4 will show up in the parts for sale section of the forum. ZF Doc will also sell you a modified factory shifter. He shortens them... Good luck!

Hey nogoodsam, go to the C4 tech discussion and look at the thread I posted "Short Shifter for LT4". I asked for a short shifter and got both the BMW and Hurst part numbers. Looked them up and got the website and prices.
